Robert L. Marro has been a dedicated supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for many years. As a father, he recognizes the unimaginable pain of having a child in need of life-saving care—and the heartbreak that many families would face if they couldn’t afford that care. St. Jude provides expert treatment for some of the most challenging pediatric cancer and disease cases, while also advancing cutting-edge research and technologies that are shaping the future of medicine. What truly sets St. Jude apart is their promise: no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food—allowing them to focus entirely on their child’s recovery. While Rob has donated in the past, he continues to believe deeply in St. Jude’s mission and the hope they provide to so many.
Hunger Relief Rooted In Dignity
Positive Impact Ministries
Robert L. Marro has generously donated his time and resources to support Positive Impact Ministries, a St. Petersburg-based nonprofit committed to fighting food insecurity, inequality, and the root causes of hunger. Following the devastation caused by Hurricanes Helen and Milton, Robert led Leisure Investment Properties Group (LIPG)’s charitable response, not only organizing a donation to the organization but also volunteering on-site to help distribute essential supplies. His hands-on involvement reflects LIPG’s broader commitment to supporting local causes with both financial contributions and physical labor.
Founded by Jay and Karalynne Brubaker, Positive Impact Ministries rose to the occasion during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, distributing over 475,000 meals to families in need. By 2023, their reach had grown to nearly 2 million meals, offering vital support to thousands of individuals and families across the community—thanks in part to donors and volunteers like Robert.
