Rob Waldron brings over 35 years of specialized expertise in golf, resort, and master planned community real estate to his role at LIPG with a focus on golf markets across the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Midwest, and Florida. Rob has managed the acquisition of nine golf courses, brokered over $300 million in transactions, underwritten more than $600 million in golf financing, and advised on upwards of 300 golf course projects. His expertise covers the full transaction spectrum — operations, finance, marketing, acquisitions, brokerage, debt placement, and consulting.
His career spans senior management positions at Marriott Corporation, Fore Golf Partners, Legg Mason Real Estate Services, Indigo Golf Partners, and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.
A recognized industry voice, he has authored articles for leading golf trade publications, spoken at national industry events, and served on the Board of Directors for the NGCOA Mid-Atlantic Chapter, Washington Metropolitan Golf Association, and Argyle Country Club.
He has officiated as a Rules Official for the USGA and multiple regional golf associations and has been a member of Golf Digest’s “100 Greatest Courses in America” panel since 1998.
Rob holds a finance degree from Penn State University, where he also played collegiate golf, pursued graduate studies at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, and holds a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License.
