Michael J. Martin brings more than 30 years of comprehensive real estate experience across a broad range of commercial property types. Throughout his career, Mr. Martin has completed numerous commercial real estate sales, lease transactions, and buyer representation assignments involving hospitality, retail, recreational, multifamily, office, industrial, healthcare, medical, convalescent, senior housing, and related assets, including both single-asset and portfolio transactions.

Mr. Martin transitioned into transaction advisory services after establishing a strong technical foundation in valuation and financial analysis. He began his career as a commercial real estate appraiser, earning the prestigious MAI designation in his late twenties. In 1995, he further distinguished himself by earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, widely regarded as one of the most respected credentials in financial analysis.

Early in his career, Mr. Martin worked with a boutique leisure and hospitality valuation firm in Colorado before relocating to the Northeast, where he served with two financial institutions and a national accounting firm, specializing in workouts and restructuring of troubled assets. He later returned to Colorado, where he continues to apply his valuation expertise and financial background to support strategic marketing, pricing, negotiation, and highest and best use analysis in transaction advisory assignments.

Mr. Martin earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He currently resides in Southeast Denver, Colorado, with his wife and children. Originally from Northeast Wisconsin, he has called Colorado home for approximately 25 years.
