Mike Martin has over 30 years total real estate experience. Mike has completed numerous commercial real estate sales, leases and buyer representations in a wide range of property types including hospitality, retail, recreational, multifamily, office, industrial, healthcare, medical, convalescent, seniors housing, and related properties, both individual and portfolio transactions. Mr. Martin came to transaction advisory services a little later in his career, as originally he was trained and professionally educated as a commercial appraiser, earning his MAI designation in his late twenties. He also completed the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 1995, the most-respected financial analysis designation. Early in his career he worked for a boutique leisure and hospitality valuation firm in Colorado, but moved to the northeast to work for two banks and a Big 6 accounting firm doing workouts on troubled assets before returning to Colorado. This background and technical expertise gives Mike a different perspective on marketing, negotiations, price, value, and highest and best use in transaction advisory situations. Mike and his wife and children reside in southeast Denver, Colorado. Mike hails originally from northeast Wisconsin, but has resided in Colorado for about 25 years. Mike received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin.
