Currently, Mr. Karamitsos holds the position of Co-founder at Leisure Investment Properties Group, an enterprise he established in collaboration with his partner, Steve Ekovich. Since its inception in 2008, Leisure Investment Properties Group has played a pivotal role in the listing, selling, and underwriting of golf and resort properties, amassing a total value exceeding $3.2 billion.

Mr. Karamitsos, a former United States Army officer and distinguished member of the Professional Golfers Association of America, boasts a career in the golf industry dating back to 1990. His competitive involvement in golf began in 1989, and since then, he has garnered expertise across all facets of the golf sector, including the management of golf properties and consultancy for golf property developers.

In addition to his role at Leisure Investment Properties Group, Mr. Karamitsos has left a notable imprint on the golf industry. He founded the Karamitsos Golf Academy in 1993 and established Sigma Golf Management and Millennium Golf Ventures in 1999. His contributions extend to leadership, having served on the Executive Board of the North Florida PGA. Moreover, Mr. Karamitsos is a published author, contributing to various periodicals and manuals.
