As a dedicated supporter of Miles for Moffitt, Hector Hernandez has actively contributed to the fight against cancer by helping raise funds and participating in the 5K run multiple times. Since 2006, Miles for Moffitt has raised millions of dollars to advance groundbreaking cancer research, helping Moffitt Cancer Center maintain its reputation as one of the nation’s leading cancer institutions and the only National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center in Florida.

Through his commitment to this cause, Hector continues to make a meaningful impact, supporting life-saving research and the mission to end cancer once and for all.

Pan-Florida Challenge

Hector Hernandez has shown incredible dedication to the Pan-Florida Challenge, raising funds and taking on the challenge of cycling 100 km one year and 100 miles the next to support cancer prevention research and patient care. Pan-Florida Challenge was focused on the fight against cancer but also worked to combat childhood hunger and malnutrition in Florida. Pan-Florida Challenge is now Feeding Dreams.

Through grants, fundraising, and school partnerships, Feeding Dreams provides nutritious meals to chronically hungry children, helping break the cycle of poverty and improve health and education. Their efforts continue to make a meaningful impact, helping build a healthier future for children and families in need.
