Golf Division of the Leisure Investment Properties Group Sells Prairie View Golf Club

Carmet, IN – The National Golf & Resort Properties Group of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, the nation’s largest real estate investment services firm, has announced the sale of Prairie View Golf Club, an 18-hole championship golf course located in Indiana just outside the Indianapolis MSA, according to Steven Ekovich, Director of the firm’s National Golf & Resort Properties Group based in Tampa, Florida.

Terence Vanek, the lead agent on the asset sale and Chris Karamitsos, co-founder of the National Golf & Resort Properties Group, represented the seller, Cardinal Golf. Terence Vanek also facilitated the buyer group, principal Gary Aletto in partnership with local experts Cohoat & O’Neal Management Corp., in the acquisition of the property. Mr. Vanek said that “we were very lucky to partner with a buyer group that brings considerable expertise and outstanding local success to this storied golf property. Prairie View Golf Club, located in Carmel – the city Money Magazine named “2012’s Best Place to Live” – is the only course in Indiana designed by the iconic Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and continuously ranks as one of the best courses in the entire state of Indiana.
